Nuclear Armageddon! A tactical Ruse or Existential Threat

There is no doubt that nuclear armageddon would be an unimaginable disaster. The loss of life would be catastrophic, and the environmental damage would be severe. However, some people believe that it is a necessary evil in order to ensure our safety. They argue that the risk of nuclear war is so great that we must take whatever measures are necessary to prevent it, even if those measures are extreme.
